Instagoodies : Nusa Lembongan

Back in Bali !!! While I had a pretty good internet connection here in the island, and at my 2nd day I've got already 100 photos, I thought I should share some of them on the blog. Of course you're all more than welcome to follow the lil journey on Instagram @gyscha.
Is it only me and my friends, or you guys also find how it's crazy and massive the development in Bali ? I mean, every time we come here, there's always...always new hotels, new properties, so many changes, the traffic somehow doesn't seem so different with Jakarta, the beaches and Legian street crammed with tourists with Bintang singlets, and in the end we really miss Bali few years ago when Dreamland was still a beautiful beach, Ubud was once less touristy.
Well this time, we decided to spend couple of days in Nusa Lembongan,  practically just sunbaking, short nap, read books, being lazy, rent motorcycle and drive around the islands with some friends, short nap again on the beach, maybe order another plate of fried rice and cold beer...well I guess thats what holidays are all about, relaxing... Away from too many tourists in Seminyak or Kuta. Unfortunately I won't write any details or budget at this post, first its just kinda hard to update the blog from smart phone, second.. We've got tons of places to visit tomorrow - from restaurants til hotels. Stay tuned on the blog for the upcoming posts it will be about hidden paradise... The Hidden Paradise, Amed  and Bali Cliff / Green Bowl Beach

Carcoar

Carcoar might be just a small town located in the middle of green valley in the Central West region of New South Wales Australia, it was completely empty and quiet when we arrived there - yes there were few cars parked in the main street, but I could see it was just the three of us hanging out a bit with chocolate ice cream. The town somehow reminded me of the dead cities back in horror or zombie movies, to be honest I haven't heard anything about Carcoar til my friends had an idea of taking me on a road trip around New South Wales. They knew I would find this place interesting, from the history, old buildings, church, post office, bookstore, shop, bar along Carcoar's main street, vintage ceramic, pretty dolls starring at me from display windows and our conversation with an old lady who has been working in the post office for more than 20 years - all were just very interesting and definitely something different to experience for me, speaking about being a tourist...

All time favorite couple !

Look at that happy girl !

Canberra

So glad to get my computer back after few days completely off and seriously nothing’s more frustrated than dealing with lost documents. Had to delay some works ( including blog post too ),but now that my IT guy has fixed the computer, I’m very happy to start my Thursday morning just being lazy in bed,  reading newspaper, writing some articles for www.travelersdaily.com, editing photos and planning some business development strategies for my new job.

Meanwhile, it’s all about clear blue skies and perfect weather here in Canberra. Found myself in love for the first sight with the city when Rob  took me to the Black Mountain tower. Many people told me there's nothing much to do in Canberra, in fact I was  simply amazed by the breathtaking view from the outdoor observation deck at the Black Mountain tower and really enjoyed hanging out with The Browns at Lake Burley Griffin, Parliament House, National library - I can actually sit there for hours and hours, between those millions great books, turkey sandwich and free WiFi, Southern Cross Club, Legends Spanish restaurant ,some museums, and ooh did I mention about my very first experience hanging out with kangaroos at Tidbinbilla Natural Reserve ? Definitely couldn't have done all these amazing experiences without my favorite The Browns :)
