Komodo Island

Resolution 2018: Explore Indonesia more often!

I spent the last days of 2017 and kicked off 2018 in one of the most beautiful places on earth: Komodo Island. Obviously everything happened quite last minute. At the beginning I thought maybe I should just stay home, I never really celebrate new year's eve in Singapore anyway...but then I kinda want to spend my last days of 2017 and start fresh in nature, quiet places, maybe beach...or just any places with clear blue skies and if I'm lucky enough I want to fall asleep under the stars. So all my wishes came true. I found this Indahnesia and Alam Indonesia account on Instagram and they have open trip 3 days 2 nights Komodo liveaboard for IDR 2.500.000 ( including meals, snorkeling, tickets to national parks,  airport transfer, almost everything ). Which perfect! I usually travel without travel agents or tours, but in this case I think it's a lot easier to join open trip as there's just so many things to see and explore around Komodo Island. I got to explore Pulau Padar, Gili Lawa, Komodo National Park, visit Pink Beach and Kampung Komodo with bunch of beautiful souls I met on the boat, reconnect with myself and nature without internet, simply love the feeling of floating in the ocean...I feel small but my dreams bigger than the world and as I tried to remember all the highlights of last year, I couldn't be more grateful most of my dreams have already come true and beyond excited to see what life has to offer in 2018.
