Clear blue sky, crystal clear water, tropical palm trees and beautiful people !
Always home sweet home, Club Med.
I was really fortunate to spend a week in Club Med Maldives last month, taking some time off to pause, reflect and reunited with some of my favorite people in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Club Med is not a new place for me, in fact I started my career at Club Med Bali in 2009 - had one of the best years working together with bunch of amazing people at Club Med Cherating Beach and even after all these years we all still good friends. More than friends...we will always be one big family.
This year marks 8 years since I left the resort to pursue my other dreams. Oh dear, 8 years, what a long journey it's been. I was so young when I started working there. Super energetic, very loud, happy, confident that people would call me Miss 1000 volta even psycho… These wonderful people have taught me so much about life and little did I know this place has changed my definition of home . It is no longer the place where I was born and raised, but the people who just accept and love you the way you are. Who gives you the stage to shine and room to grow, believes in you more than you even believe in yourself. Something I never knew before that you can find new family in new places, perhaps the best thing about stepping out of your comfort zone - you never know who you’ll run into but at least so far I am grateful I’m always surrounded with good people ( positive attracts positive ).
Thank you again Club Med Kani ( especially Sentha ) for the best 7 days under clear blue sky, salt water that heals everything, and beautiful souls who reminds me how insanely lucky I am and no matter what happens in life, how hard it gets, I’m going to make it.
Ps : Always surround yourself with people who deserve your magic.
